Starting Monday, December 29, 2003, all firm Infopac and Document Direct access and access changes to CME and CBOT clearing
reports, as well as, requests for routing to specific printers on your firm’s network (VPS), will be processed within 24 hours.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that all firms verify their current set-ups now for:
- Clearing reports accessed by Users via Infopac/Document Direct.
- Reports that are being sent directly to firm printers or print queues via VPS.
- New firm network printers to which reports should be routed via VPS.
If any adds, deletes or changes are required, please email the specifics to Ori Lotan at olotan@cme.com, no later than Wednesday, December 24th. This will help ensure that your routing set-ups are completed in a timely manner.
We also urge users that have access to CME’s Portal to view their clearing reports via Document Direct as an alternative to
Infopac. Along with a cleaner and more intuitive interface, Document Direct prints the reports to your local PC’s default
printer, which can be easily managed and administered locally by your firm. While we will continue to support VPS printing,
any changes will continue to require involvement by CME and firm network/systems staff which could potentially delay the completion
of the requests.
Once again, we ask that you to please review these set-ups now. Unfortunately, after 12/29/03 we will not be able to process
“changes on the fly” for those routing changes not requested 24-hours in advance.
If you have any questions, please call Ori Lotan at 312-466-7430.
Thank you.
